20 Reasons Why Your Mum Will Always Have A Special Place In Your Heart

When it comes to our moms, the relationship we have can be complicated by a mix of unconditional love and moments of contempt. Whatever your relationship was, she will always hold a place in your heart. She is irreplaceable in our hearts for good reasons and although you never knew what she was thinking on the inside, she always had your best interest at heart.

1. She gave you life Your mom decided to give birth to you and with that took on the responsibility to love and support you.

2. She would hold you any time of day or night when you needed her When you are afraid and vulnerable, your mother’s caress will make you feel safe.

3. When you were vulnerable as a baby, she was your protector Your mom spent all of your baby years keeping you safe so you were free to grow through experiences.

4. She offers you as much security as possible
Your mom’s sole job in the first years and maybe even still is to ensure you’re taken care of and safe.

5. She is selfless: if you need something your mom will go without to give it to you Your mom puts you before herself with everything and is
dedicated to you.

6. She loves you even when you don’t love yourself in the adolescent years There are some tough years where we don’t even know who we are anymore but our moms stabilized that feeling
with her love for us.

7. She listens to you when you need someone to talk to To have an ear and a shoulder to cry on makes us feel better and moms are great at that.

8. Her tough love is only to make you better
Anytime you felt like your mom was hard on you, you will look back and see that it was to your benefit.

9. She passed her life wisdom on to you
Your mom teaches you valuable lessons in life that you wouldn’t have learned from anyone else.

10. She nags you for all the right reasons like taking an umbrella or wearing a warm jacket
Although you may find her nagging a bit frustrating, it is always for your greater good.

11. She will always have your back even when you’re wrong You make mistakes but your mom always takes your side.

12. She supports all of your ideas and endeavors
Your mom is happy when you have passion for something and she does everything in her power to help you reach your goals.

13. She lifts you up when you’ve been defeated and takes the time to build you back up
When life gets you down, your mom will be there to pick you up.

14. She has loved you even through the hardest times Life can bring on some harsh experiences that leave you feeling left in the dust and this is when your mom gives you the loving kindness you deeply need in these moments.

15. She made it possible for you to experience many things in your life even if that meant her taking on an extra job The sacrifices your mom makes often include financial backing so even if it means getting a second job, she makes sure you can achieve your dreams.

16. She watched you in competition and cheered you on even if it meant waking up at the crack of dawn or standing on the sidelines in the rain
Your mom supports you in your activities and always thinks you’re the greatest player out there (even if you aren’t),

17. She is proud of your successes Your mom believes in you and that belief makes you a
better person in many ways.

18. She’s your friend even when you’re an adult
Your mom can be your best friend as she has proven through the years to have all the qualities a good friend should have.

19. She will love you until the end of time with a fierce devotion that is unmatched
The love of your mom is deep and neverending, this naturally makes us reciprocate that feeling back to her.

20. She is irreplaceable in your life and offers a kind of comfort and warmth in your heart that can never be taken away. The place in your heart for your mom will always be there whether you live next door to each other or are far apart.

Meet Man Who Is Married To N1.3m Sex Doll

A young man who is married to a doll has given a breakdown of their daily life.
Dirk and Jenny’s sentiments are: to love one another, to support one another and to share a lot of their private time together.

The only thing that sets them apart is Jenny is a ‘real doll’ that Dirk bought for 6,000 euros (that’s $6,750 and N1.3million).

His reason for the purchase was after he suffered a breakdown from feeling lonely. They have been living together in Dirk’s flat for 4 years now. They tied the knot in Dirk’s flat, and instead of a wedding ring, he gifted her heart shaped pendant on a chain.

A Documentary carried on the couple’s day to day lives by photographer, Sandra Hoyn, discovered the 40-year-old man bathed Jenny on Sundays, they wrote a blog together and watched football in front of the TV side by side. Dirk, however, hasn’t told any of his family or friends, including his child from a previous marriage. When he has guests he conceals her in his bedroom and dims the lights.

The photographer’s biggest challenge, was coming to terms with treating Jenny as the person Dirk sees her to be; to not to just see the doll just as a doll, but to “recognize what the man sees and loves in her”.
She actually started to feel her presence, and when Jenny was put in bed for a ‘sleep’, actually felt her voice volume lowering, afraid of waking her.
“I can’t live without love. My loneliness destroyed me.” Dirk says of his silicone doll. Dirk carrying Jenny into the bathroom. He always has to remove the door so that Jenny fits through. “Jenny is such a sensitive being. She is so helpless.” He said
“Jenny gives me security. I never want to live without her again. I am moved from her words, the purity, serenity and honesty of her speaking”.
“Jenny likes to wear beautiful clothes. But she does not care for brands.”
Every Sunday Dirk washes her lace lingerie and wigs.

– USA Legalises Same Sex Marriage Nationwide

The Supreme Court of the United States of America on Friday finally legalised same sex marriage throughout the whole country.
Before the announcement, only states which had passed the legalisation allowed same-couple marriages, but under the new ruling all 50 states in the country would allow same sex marriage.

                                 President Barack Obama

The issue of same sex marriage has led to significant changes in matrimony laws including a court ruling over 50 years ago that legalised interracial marriage.
This new ruling means that the ban on gay marriages in 14 US states has been cancelled. The states which forbid it are geographically situated in the “Bible Belt” areas of the Southern US.
Today’s ruling means the decision from Cincinnati’s Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals to uphold the right of states to maintain “the traditional definition of marriage”  has been cancelled.
A 5-4 decision with the majority opinion written by Justice Anthony Kennedy made the decision possible.
He wrote of same sex couples: “Their hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization’s oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right.”
The outcome is the culmination of two decades of Supreme Court debate over marriage, and gay rights generally.
President Obama tweeted the announcement: “Today is a big step in our march toward equality. Gay and lesbian couples now have the right to marry, just like anyone else"
According to Fox President Obama spoke to a crowd outside the supreme court. He called the decision a  “victory for America.”
He added: “When all Americans are treated as equal, we are all more free.”
Vice-president Joe Biden in a statement said@:“All marriages, at their root, are about love.”

With both chambers announcing an adjournment till 21 July, Buhari’s ministerial list will also have to be delayed for at least one month or even till after the Ramadan fasting period.
The 7th Senate under Senator David Mark approved in early June, Buhari’s request for 15 special advisers. Out of the list, Buhari has only appointed a special adviser on media and publicity, Mr. Femi Adeshina.
Speaking through another media aide, Garba Shehu, recently, Buhari had blamed the crisis in the senate as part of the reasons for the delay in unveiling ministerial nominees.
Although, the deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu, has described the ongoing tension in the national assembly as a disagreement that is in the interest of Nigeria.

Cancer Patient And His Girlfriend Tie The Knot In Hospital : A 16-year-old girl has fulfilled her boyfriend’s last wish by marrying him in hospital – just days before he died, Birmingham, England, UK.

Amie Cresswell and Omar Al Shaikh were dating for eight months and decided to tie the knot afer the boy’s doctors warned he had less than a week to live. Omar was suffering from acute myeloid leukaemia for more than a year and his only hope was to find a stem cell donor but, unfortunately, it did not happen.
When the 16-year-olds heard the terrible news they immediately asked the permission of their parents for a wedding – and they could not refuse. Omar proposed to Amie and the next day they tied the knot in the hospital surrounded by friends and family members. Three days after their big day Omar passed away, his mother Mirabela and new wife were with him at that moment.

Devastated Amie said: “I’m still absolutely heartbroken. Omar wanted to get married before he died and when he proposed I just jumped at the chance. We had talked about getting married but never imagined we would be 16. We thought we would grow old together. When he was told the disease had come back it was just a massive shock.

“I knew I wanted to stand by him through it all. He is such a lovely soul – wanted to spend as much time as I had with him as possible. As he put the ring on my finger he said he wished he had more time with me. I wish we had, too, but I’m so glad we had the chance to make this happy memory.”

ELEVEN HINTS OF LIFE

1. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return. But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel. 2. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go. 3. Tha best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you’ve ever had. 4. It’s true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives. 5. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. 6. Don’t go for looks, they can decieve. Don’t go for wealth even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem unbright. 7. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do. 8. Always put yourself in other’s shoes…….if you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too. 9. A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel world may wreck a life. A timely world may level stress, but a loving word may heal & bless. 10. The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. 11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying & everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you are the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.
