Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria has emerged as a target for Barcelona. The Argentine winger starred for Real Madrid in La Liga and their great rivals are keen to tempt him back to Spain after one season in England. (Sport) Manchester United are ready to play hardball with Real Madrid and demand a straight swap deal involving David de Gea and Sergio Ramos . United bosses have told Madrid De Gea will not be sold unless World Cup winner Ramos is included in the deal. (Daily Star) Newcastle are in pole position to capture Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin after tabling a £14million bid. Southampton had offered around £13.75m for the England new boy but Newcastle manager Steve McClaren , who worked with Austin at Loftus Road, has gazumped them. The 25-year-old former Dnipro star, now a free agent, is desperate for a move to the Premier League and has been in talks with Stoke over a move to the Britannia Stadium.
